Who is performing percutaneous tracheotomies? Practice patterns of surgeons in the USA

Abstract: Tracheotomy is one of the most common surgical procedures performed in the ICU setting. Traditionally tracheotomy has been performed by otolaryngologists as well as general surgeons.
