Abstract:Chalkbrood, a widespread fungal disease of bee larvae, is caused by the fungus Ascosphaera apis. In this article, mecylia and spores of A. apis were respectively collected followed by DNA isolation, bisulfite conversion, cDNA library construction and next-generation sequencing.
