Whole Lung Lavage In a Patient With Pulmonery Alveolary Proteinosis

Abstract: Özet42 year-old female with 4 months history of dyspnea was referred to our hospital for further examination with bilateral alveolar infiltration on chest X-Ray. For differential diagnosis, a bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) was performed. The BAL fluid had a milky appearance and prepared smears showed proteinous material which contains periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) positive and diastase-PAS resistant globules.
