Whole-Rock Geochemistry and Mica Compositions in Lijiagou Pegmatite Spodumene Deposit, Western Sichuan, China

Xiaojie Chen,
Cuihua Chen,
Xiang Lai
et al.

Abstract: The Lijiagou pegmatite spodumene deposit, located in the middle of the Songpan–Garze Fold Belt and southeast of the Ke’eryin ore field, is a newly discovered super-large deposit. In order to reveal the metallogenic tectonic environment and evolution process of pegmatite, based on the study of the geological characteristics of pegmatite, we carried out a whole-rock geochemical analysis of Ke’eryin two-mica granite and Lijiagou pegmatite and carried out a detailed electron probe microanalysis (EPMA) and laser ab… Show more

“…), with only a few independent deposits [1][2][3][4]. Lithium and Rb mineralization is commonly associated with highly differentiated granite, making the study of their occurrence and process mineralogy an important research focus [5][6][7][8]. As dispersed elements, Li, and Rb are typically found within primary rock-forming minerals of granite, such as mica and feldspar.…”
