Abstract:Aiming to answer an interesting question on why some radio sources can be detected by Fermi-LAT but others cannot, we compare several parameters of Fermi-detected Fanaroff-Riley radio galaxies (FFRs) and non-Fermi-detected sources (NFFRs), including the optical absolute magnitude, 1.4 GHz radio luminosity, radio loudness, core dominance parameter, Doppler factor, and the mass of the central black hole.
