Why Do I Need to Know This? Reaching the Adult Learner

Abstract: Pharmacists are trained as drug experts, not educators, so many are disadvantaged when they must act as teachers. But there are ways to increase your confidence and improve your teaching techniques. Great health care lecturers can improve patient care, increase others' motivation to do a great job, and even change belief systems and culture.
