Wide-band low-profile circular array of H-plane horn antennas

Abstract: This paper presents a novel design of low-profile circular array of H-plane horn antenna whose radiating aperture is on the side surface of a short solenoid. The designed antenna operates from 835MHz to 2436MHz and exhibits good radiation patterns and gain over the entire operating frequency band. Simulated results are provided to verify the design concept.
