Widespread dermatophytosis in a healthy adolescent: the first report of multidrug-resistant Trichophyton indotineae infection in the UAE

Abstract: A multidrug-resistant dermatophyte species recently arose in India, first described as terbinafine-resistant Trichophyton interdigitale and soon given a separate name: T. indotineae.
