“/” wiring (Durukan weave) to prevent sternal cutting by wires: a propensity score matched comparison with Robicsek weave

Abstract: Introduction Sternal closure still causes morbidity/mortality following sternotomy. Robicsek weave, cable systems, rigid plates and nitinol clips are systems employed to prevent sternal dehiscence.
