Abstract:Like orthodox drugs, plant-based medicines have been known to interact with and affect bioactive molecules and functions. Our earlier study using HPLC in quantification of bioactive compounds revealed high levels of quercetin, gallic acid, and rutin in Psychotria vogeliana leaf.
