Abstract:Background:
Cardiac syndrome X (CSX) is regarded as a form of ischemic heart disease with functional coronary microvascular abnormalities. This abnormal functioning of coronary microvasculature, often associated with endothelial dysfunction, results in a reduced coronary blood flow reserve.
