Abstract:Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems are capable of delivering substantially higher throughput under favorable circumstances, at the cost of complexity in terms of the number of parameters that must be estimated and processed. Our results are directed toward lowering this computational complexity through reduction of channel information required at the transmitter. Specifically, we examine the case when only the number of degrees of freedom supporting a threshold SNR is known at the transmitter. We sh… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
