Abstract:SMA is a rare autosomal recessive neuromuscular junction denervation disease that causes progressive skeletal muscle weakness. Innovative SMA treatments have altered the disease's trajectory. SMA is an inherited condition that causes child mortality and is the most frequent hereditary disease.
