Abstract:A new nitrogen-doped carbon support for Pt-based electrocatalysts was prepared by carbonizing polypyrrole formed on the surface of WO 3 nanoparticles (WO 3 -CN x ). Morphologies of WO 3 -CN x and PtSn/WO 3 -CN x were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. PtSn nanoparticles were well-dispersed on the surface of WO 3 -CN x . Electrocatalytic results showed that PtSn/WO 3 -CN x is more active than PtSn/C in the ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR), since… Show more
Pd nanoparticles anchored on Nb-doped TiO2 with functionalized carbon support (denoted as Pd/Nb–TiO2–C) is synthesized through a controllable hydrolysis and impregnation method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
