Women and leadership in clinical psychology: Time for action and solutions?

Abstract: This article highlights the continuing issue of the underrepresentation of women in senior positions in the NHS and in particular the profession of clinical psychology. The paper suggests some ideas about why this might be and puts forward recommendations to address these inequalities, specifically in the context of recruiting and training future clinical psychologists.
