Women's Perspectives Matter: Providing an enabling environment for women to be heard in the workplace

Abstract: This briefing aims to share the insights Oxfam gained from interviews conducted with 26 experts in December 2019, on the subject of what works for women to represent themselves effectively. It outlines practical steps that companies can take to enable women to be heard in the workplace and fulfil their potential. The coronavirus pandemic has made clear both the risks of not doing so and the benefits for a just recovery when women’s perspectives are understood and the barriers they face are addressed.
