“Working model of the child interview”: Infant clinical status related to maternal perceptions

Abstract: Parental perceptions and subjective experience of infants have long been considered important in clinical work with infants and families. Using three different samples of infants, we compare mothers' representations of their infants in clinically referred and nonreferred groups, using the Working Model of the Child Interview (WMCI). “…Taigi, esant normaliai vaiko raidai, motinos empatiškiau suvokė ir apibūdino savo vaikus bei santykius su jais, jos adekvačiau ir nuosekliau perteikė savo sąveikos su vaiku patirtį. Šie rezultatai sutampa su kitų autorių analogiškais duomenimis (11,12 Motinų patirtis auginant sutrikusios raidos vaikus: vidinių reprezentacijų ypatybės 560 pasitaikanti VDMI kategorija buvo atsiribojusios reprezentacijos (55 proc.).
