En outre, les programmes de réhabilitation cardiaque américains et européens ne favorisent actuellement qu'à court terme la supervision des patients suite à un épisode cardiaque aigu (douze semaines en moyenne), encourageant simplement les patients au maintien des acquis lors de la fin du programme (Clark, Whelan, Barbour, & Maclntyre, 2005;Horgan et al, 1992). Horgan et al (1992) considèrent toutefois qu'un système de réévaluation visant à estimer le maintien des acquis doit être établi suite au programme de réhabilitation, car avec le temps, plusieurs patients reviennent à leurs habitudes de vie insatisfaisantes.…”
