X-ray microbeams based on Kumakhov polycapillary optics and its applications: Analytical consideration

Abstract: Kumakhov polycapillary optics is based on the effective passage of X-ray radiation through bundles of monocapillaries of various configurations. The passage of radiation takes place because of the total external reflection of X-rays from the inner capillary walls.
