Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis mimicking gallbladder carcinoma: a case report

Abstract: Introduction: Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis (XGC) is an uncommon type of chronic cholecystitis. Clinical presentation, laboratory findings, and radiological analysis mimic gallbladder carcinoma. A definitive diagnosis is made by histological study.
