Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis presenting as giant gluteal abscess

Abstract: Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis (XGP) is a rare chronic suppurative granulomatous infection of the kidney associated with renal obstruction and progressive renal parenchymal destruction.
