Abstract:Tomato is a popular vegetable worldwide; its production is highly threatened by infection with the potato spindle tuber viroid (PSTVd). We obtained the full‐length genome sequence of previously conserved PSTVd and inoculated it on four genotypes of semi‐cultivated tomatoes selected from a local tomato germplasm resource.
