Xenoimplant of Collagen Matrix Scaffold in Liver Tissue as a Niche for Liver Cells

Abstract: Hepatitis C virus-induced liver damage, chronic liver damage due to alcohol, and non-alcoholic liver disease-induced cellular alterations promote fibrosis, cirrhosis, and/or hepatocellular carcinoma.
