Abstract: Efficient cellulose degradation by cellulase enzymes is crucial for using lignocellulosic biomass in bioenergy production. In the cell wall of plants, cellulose is bound by lignin and hemicellulose, which are key factors contributing to the recalcitrance of plant biomass.
