Abstract:A series of Au(I) complexes containing unsymmetrical N‐heterocyclic carbene (imidazolylidene and benzimidazolylidene) functionalized with a xyloside group and an alkyl moiety (methyl and mesityl) was prepared using efficient procedures from D‐xylose.
