Abstract:Moringa oleifera is an angiosperm plant that belongs to the family Moringaceae. It is also known as the Drumstick tree or Horseradish tree. Alkaloids, protein, quinine, saponins, flavonoids, tannin, steroids, glycosides, fixed oil and lipids are among the active phytoconstituents present.
