Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between political violence and political power in Turkey. In this respect, the study focuses on the periods of the 1970s and 1990s, when violence was most intense in Turkish political history. Design/Methodology: Secondary data analysis is carried out in the research, and the equivalent of political violence in the Turkish sample is examined based on the literature on Turkish political life and political theory. In this respect, the violence between the 1970s and the 1990s is qualitatively compared with the comparison method. Findings: As a result of the analyzes, it was concluded that there is a positive relationship between political instabilities and political violence, and it was seen that economic crises and fragile coalitions increased social marginalization and unrest and led to an increase in political violence. Limitations: The sample is limited to the 1970s and 1990s, which are the two periods when political violence was experienced most intensely in the political history of Turkey and the two periods most associated with violence in the literature on political life. Originality/Value: Although political violence is a subject that is studied theoretically and especially based on individual acts of violence, studies of the period as a whole are very limited in terms of violence. However, there is no study in the literature comparing two different historical periods. In this respect, the study has a unique quality and claims to fill a gap in the literature.

Energy is one of the main inputs of economic growth. The energy supply will become secure, in the fight against agricultural development and global warming, biodiesel, which increases the production of vegetable oil and the recovery of waste vegetable oils, has started to take a large place in energy and agriculture policies. The European Union and Turkey implemented various incentives and support policies for biodiesel and oil seeds planted that are made compulsory mixed prepared. The aim of this study is the structure of the EU and biodiesel fuel production with markets in Turkey and analyzed using panel data to examine the relationship between economic growth and assessing the impact of policies. This study biodiesel for 29 countries from 2008 to 2016 between the years including Turkey found (thousand tonnes) Production and Gross Domestic Product (GDP Million Euro) were examined through the relationship between the annual series of panel data analysis. According to CD test results, cross-sectional dependence exists for biodiesel production. IPS (Im, Peseran and Shin) and ADF-Fisher unit root test was applied for economic growth and biodiesel production series As a result of the econometric analysis, it is seen that the fixed effects model is valid for GDP-Biodiesel models. Accordingly, the biodiesel series has a positive effect on the GDP and the increase in biodiesel production affects the GDP in the direction of increase.

Son yıllarda fosil yakıtların giderek tükenmesi, ekolojik sistemlerin tahribe uğraması, yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından olan biyoetanol gibi yakıtların üretilmesi ile devletlerin enerjide bağımsız olma isteği ve enerji çeşitliliğini çoğaltma çabaları önemini arttırmıştır. Biyoetanol üretiminde şeker bazlı kaynaklar, nişasta kaynakları, lignoselüloz ve alg gibi biyokütle kaynakları kullanılmaktadır. Biyokütle kaynakları arasında şeker ve nişasta bazlı olanlar kullanılarak üretilen biyoetanol birinci nesil biyoetanol, lignoselülozik kaynaklar kullanılarak üretilen biyoetanol ikinci nesil biyoetanol ve algler kullanılarak üretilen biyoetanol ise üçüncü nesil biyoetanol olarak adlandırılır. Biyoetanol üretiminde biyokütle kaynakları kullanılarak aynı zamanda zirai üretimde çeşitlilik, ekosisteme olumlu katkıda bulunma, sürdürülebilir bir tarımsal yapı oluşturulur. Genel olarak biyoetanol üretim prosesi; biyokütlenin hazırlanması, hidroliz, fermantasyon ve saflaştırma aşamalarından oluşmaktadır.
