Yield performance of the cocoa clones of Sca 6 and DRC 15 resistant to vascular-streak dieback

Abstract: RingkasanSeleksi ketahanan kakao terhadap penyakit pembuluh kayu (vascular-streak dieback, VSD) telah mendapatkan sejumlah klon tahan VSD. Show more

“…Although PSU SCA-6 is not identical to SCA-6, the original SCA-6 was collected from the wild in the Peruvian Amazon (Zhang et al 2011) and has some natural disease resistance (Pokou et al 2019). However, this cultivar is not highly productive (Susilo et al 2009). For genetic transformation to be used most effectively, the ability to transform many Theobroma cacao cultivars, including those less amenable to transformation, must be established.…”

“…Although PSU SCA-6 is not identical to SCA-6, the original was collected from the wild in the Peruvian Amazon (Zhang et al 2011) and has some natural, broadspectrum fungal resistance (Pokou et al 2019). However, this cultivar is not highly productive (Wahyu et al 2009). For genetic transformation to be used most effectively the ability to transform many cacao cultivars, including those less-amenable to transformation, must be established.…”
