Abstract

Management is a profession and an area of expertise that is psychologically difficult and requires endurance. If it is to endure distress; It is the power to cope with and resist negative psychological situations and experiences. The inadequacy of the managers in the face of negativities and their ignorance of their psychological resilience capacity seems to be a problem for the future of the enterprises. The aim of this study is to reveal the relationships between the resilience of the students studying in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Applied Sciences, which are thought to train administrators, and their resilience to adversity, and their ability to regulate against adversity, according to their various characteristics. The data of the research were collected by questionnaire technique and convenience sampling, and the relationships between the variables were examined by Multiple Coherence Analysis. In the study, Exploratory Factor analysis and Confirmatory Factor analysis were used to find common factor structures and two factors were obtained. In the study, it was determined that the variable of intense distress was associated with male students, between the ages of 18-25, who were thinking of being a manager in their careers. It was determined that the students in this cluster also had low ability to regulate/regulate distress. In the study, it was determined that low levels of intense distress were associated with female students. Another finding of the study was that female students' ability to regulate distress was higher than men's ability to regulate distress. Similarly, it was determined that students with low ability to regulate distress experienced intense distress and high distress
