Abstract: Lastly, I want to acknowledge the many AP students of color who may be impacted by the results of this study. My hope is that you will no longer be "missing" physically and mentally from AP courses. You will find a classroom that is welcoming, speaks your language, that recognizes your unique talent and skills, is challenging and engaging, and says, "YOU BELONG HERE!" 5
