Young Black Women’s Perceptions of Otherfather Involvement

Abstract: A limited number of studies have examined how Black children, particularly daughters, perceive Black men who provide care—financial, material, or emotional support—to children who are not their biological or legal children (these men are here conceptualized as “otherfathers”).
