Young's Modulus of a Composite: Reinforced with (n - 1) Different Inclusions

Abstract: A mathematical result is obtained for estimating the overall longitudinal Young's modulus of a unidirectional composite reinforced with ( n -1) different inclusions, so as to have an in-depth study of the work [1], which was restricted to two phase composite body. The distribution of stresses and strains are discussed in accordance with the corresponding elastic energies and the mixture is assumed to possess the properties described in Reference [1].
