Your voice pitch speaks volumes about you: How voice pitch affects mind perception of the speakers

Abstract: Three studies investigated how speakers' pitch affects listeners' attribution of mental capacity (e.g., the ability to feel emotions and physical sensations such as pain and pleasure; Gray et al., Science, 315, 2007, 619) to them and further explored downstream effects on social judgements.
