“…TFA describes its participants as leaders who are contributing to the broader field of educational improvement, and alumni of its program are encouraged to remain active in the education sector even if they do not remain in teaching (TFA, undated-a). There is evidence that the experience of participating in TFA influences individuals' future career trajectories, including effects on participants' likelihood to work in education, ambition to engage on policy issues, and mindsets and perceptions (Dobbie and Fryer, 2015;Mo, Conn, and Anderson-Nilsson, 2019).
