Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a Hizbul Wathan pocketbook for the development of student independence in Muhammadiyah Elementary Schools. The type of research is development research, with a 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. In this study, there are four stages of research, namely, define (definition), design (planning), develop (development), and disseminate (dissemination). Because of the limited budget in this study, it only reached the development stage and not the dissemination stage. Four validators have validated this pocketbook from different angles of expertise, and the results are worthy of being used as a guidebook in Hizbul wathan scouting learning.
