Abstract: produkcji żywca brojlerów w Polsce. Materiał badawczy stanowiły dane dotyczące poniesionych nakładów oraz uzyskanej wielkości produkcji w latach 1994-2013 w trzech fermach brojlerów położonych w województwach opolskim i śląskim. Do określenia relacji nakłady-produkt zastosowano funkcję produkcji Cobba-Douglasa. Decydujący wpływ na wielkość produkcji miały nakłady kapitału obrotowego. The article presents changes of the main input-output prices in the Hungarian broiler industry over a period of 30 years, and associated correlations. For the processing of long-term data, a linear regression function, correlation and regression analysis were used. The cereal prices correlate and their changes also correspond with a change in compound feed prices. A close correlation can be found between cereal price and broiler price, whilst the correlation shown between the compound feed price and broiler price is very close. During the examined period, the feed prices increased at a higher rate than the broiler price. It was also established that the current feed and energy price significantly affect day-old chick prices which corresponds with an increase in price of the broiler. Furthermore, a close relation can be found between energy and feed compound prices.

The aim of the study was to show changes in the volume of production, foreign trade and the prices of geese in Poland against the backdrop of world production, along with the presentation of new trends. The most important producer of geese in the world was China, whose production reached 95% of world production in recent years. Poland remains second in the ranking (with the production of approx. 30,996 tons, which accounted for 1.2% of world production in 2016), and is followed by countries such as Egypt (1.06%) and Hungary (1.02%). Prices of goose meat were the highest of all poultry species and, compared to chickens, they were higher, ranging from 60% in 2005 to 170% in 2017. In Poland, production was export-oriented. Starting from 2012, interest in goose meat on the domestic market has increased, and consumption reached a level of 40% in the period between 2012-2013. Production in the coming years will probably increase due to the advantages of goose meat, as well as due to the acquisition of extremely valued down and feathers.
