Abstract:Zener relaxation studies were performed with an inverted torsion pendulum on specimens of FeCo solid solutions with concentrations ranging from 3.18 to 42.5 wt% cobalt. Over the range of temperatures studied an Arrhenius equation adequately describes the relaxation time. Anomalously high values of the activation energy and low values of the pre‐exponential factor in the relaxation time in the cases of the 23.1 and 30.3 wt% cobalt alloys are interpreted as due to a process of ferromagnetic spin ordering in the… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
