“…In einer randomisierten doppelblind kontrollierten Studie bei entzündlicher Akne war Zink‐Glukonat (entsprechend 30 mg elementarem Zink täglich) besser als Plazebo in der Reduktion entzündlicher Veränderungen [8] (Empfehlungsgrad B, Evidenzstufe 2b; n = 66). In weiteren Plazebo‐kontrollierten Untersuchungen erwiesen sich Zinksalze in fünf Studien als effektiver als Plazebo [9, 10, 11, 12, 13], in zwei Studien fand sich kein Unterschied zu Plazebo [14, 15].
