“…The relatively young Nd depleted‐mantle model ages (T DM = 0.72–0.91 Ga) also support this conclusion. At the same time, the Sr‐Nd isotope compositions and the T DM ages illustrate that no ancient continental lithosphere under the CAOB, consistent with conclusion of no large‐scale Precambrian basement within eastern CAOB (Miao et al, ; Miao, Zhang, Baatar, Zhu, & Anaad, ; Miao, Zhang, Zhu, & Liu, ). The high K/Rb ratios (165–883) of the mafic rocks imply that amphibole is the dominant hydrous mineral in the mantle source.…”

“…In the BJKB, the Pan‐African metamorphic and igneous rocks range in age from 540 to 480 Ma with a peak of ~500 Ma (Wilde et al, ; Zhou et al, ). In the middle Paleozoic, only a few inherited zircons with 390–290 Ma ages are reported in the granitic rocks along the western BJKB (Miao et al, ). A magmatic arc belt (290–274 Ma in age) was generated along the eastern margin of the Jiamusi Block (Bi et al, ; Meng et al, ; Sun, Xu, Wilde, Chen, et al, ; Yu et al, ), whereas there are 270–244 Ma I‐type granodiorites and 220–170 Ma highly fractionated I‐type granitoids in the western BJKB and adjacent areas (Jahn et al, ; Liu et al, ; Wu et al, , , ; Xu et al, ; Yang et al, b).…”

“…But more and more studies show that the Xing'an Block consists mainly of Phanerozoic igneous and sedimentary rocks (Wu et al, ). The recently dated Precambrian basement rocks should be a part of the Erguna Block according to new studies (Cui et al, ; Feng, Liu, Li, et al, ; Miao, Zhang, Zhu, & Liu, ; W. Sun et al, ).…”
