“…Based on the analysis of the content of the research conducted in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which points out the necessity for change of textbook policies in the educational system of B&H, it can be observed that the profession distribution is still noticeably reflected through gender insensitive textbook policies. Textbooks mostly mention statesmen, officials, military personnel, politicians, police officers, priests, heroes, while women are mainly mentioned as women from the village, mothers and housewives (Duraković, 2022). The results of previous testing of gender differences perception in the STEM area indicate the existence of stereotypes—even more than 50% of primary school students and approximately 40% of secondary school students believe that it is more appropriate for men to have a built career than women, and they think men are better in the field of technology, engineering and informatics (Đapo et al., 2020).…”
