Single crystals of Zr 4CuSb7 are obtained by arc-melting of the elements with 10 % Sb excess followed by annealing (evacuated quartz tubes, 1123 K, 3 d). The compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4bm (Z = 4, single crystal XRD) as a racemic twin and adopts a unique structure regarded as a composite of a PbClF unit and a layered, partially Cu-substituted polyantimonide substructure. Structural relations to known Zr-transition metal polyantimonides are discussed. -(GREIWE, M.; NILGES*, T.; Z. Naturforsch., B: Chem. Sci. 69b (2014) 11-12, 1124-1130, http://dx.
