Abstract: ZusammenfassungObwohl die Kriminologie als „Lehre vom Verbrechen“ für die Aufarbeitung von Straftaten prädestiniert scheint, ist ihr Engagement in der Forensik keineswegs selbstverständlich. Dies hängt mit Unklarheiten, die bereits im Hinblick auf Grundeigenschaften der Kriminologie bestehen, zusammen.
