Abstract: Zygoma implants, sometimes called zygomatic implants, are different from conventional dental implants in that they are affixed in the zygomatic bone, not the maxilla. They can be used in situations when there is not enough maxillary bone, either in terms of quantity or consistency, to support a dental implant.
