Abstract:In the centrosymmetric dinuclear cation of the title complex, [Cu2(C10H8N2)2(C12H10N2)(C18H15P)2](BF4)2, each Cu atom is coordinated by two N atoms from a 2,2‐bipyridine ligand and a P atom from a triphenylphosphine ligand, and the two N2PCu+ fragments are bridged by a trans‐1,2‐di‐4‐pyridylethylene ligand, resulting in a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. Two F atoms are disordered over two sites each, with almost equal occupancies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
