Abstract:The effect of a nanosecond spark discharge on the oblique collision of a steel ball and a flat cast-iron plate was experimentally studied. It was discovered that the rebound angle of the ball becomes less than the impact angle at collision with the spark discharge, while the rebound angle is more than the impact angle at the ordinary collision without a discharge.
