Abstract

The discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning is not relevant at the current stage of our country's life. This form of training is the only one possible on the territories where martial law or quarantine has been declared. Therefore, one of the urgent today tasks, that are needed to be solved by scientists, is the development of effective methodical systems for distance learning of pupils and students of higher education institutions.The work experience allowed us to conclude about the expediency of a special organization of a repetitive elementary mathematics course for qualitative mastering of the main topics of higher mathematics by students of non-mathematical specialties.In our opinion, the necessity of such a course is determined by the following reasons: for the past three years high school graduates have been studying remotely in unstable conditions (pandemic, blackouts, air strikes, lack of the Internet, etc.), which is an objective reason for the decrease in the level of their mathematical training; students of non-mathematical specialties usually become students who studied in classes of non-mathematical profiles and for many of them mathematics was and remains rather difficult subject.In order to clarify general considerations, based on the Sumy National Agrarian University, we conducted a survey of students of non-mathematical
