Еconomic security digital platforms: concept and analysis

Abstract

The article clarifies the conceptual approach, tested on subjects of the traditional economy, to ensuring the economic security of digital platforms consisting of the following elements: participants, objects, systems, technologies, methods, tools and mechanisms. The conceptual framework of the approach links into a single cycle the process of ensuring the economic security of a digital platform according to the following key components of the analysis: «the problem and its factors → economic orientation within the problem → risks of economic security → indicators and criteria of economic security → method of ensuring economic security». The approach required finding and summarizing a large amount of information, which was used in developing a method for ensuring the economic security of the digital platform. The proposed approach and the analysis performed on its basis expand the boundaries of research in the field of ensuring the economic security of subjects of both traditional and digital economies. The results of the article are of particular theoretical and practical interest for creative economic and IT entities implementing digital platforms in Russia.
