Abstract:The structural and optical properties of colloidal Ag2S quantum dots in various environments are investigated. With the help of transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and X-ray energy dispersion analysis, the formation of colloidal Ag2S quantum dots with an average size of 2-3 nm with a monoclinic crystal lattice, and Ag2S/SiO2 core-shell systems based on them, has been established. The change in the luminescence quantum yield of quantum dots with the change of the surface environment state is sho… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
