Abstract:Fluoride nanocrystals co-doped with lanthanide ions are well known due to the possibility of conversion near-infrared (NIR) radiation into photoluminescence with large anti-Stokes shift. Owing to upconversion effect, such nanomaterials have shown great potential in photonics and biomedicine.
