Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a very common mental disorder that causes distress and functional impairment, leads to mental health and medical comorbidities, and is associated with serious complications, including suicide. Patients experience a variety of symptoms. Disruptions in various neurobiological systems can trigger the development and persistence of PTSD. Nowadays, this disorder is becoming increasingly common among military personnel. A number of methods of medication and psychological assistance are used to treat it. The most common types of psychological rehabilitation for servicemen with PTSD include individual cognitive behavioral therapy, integrative psychotherapy, desensitization therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, and hypnosis.
